Directed by David Gordon Green this comedy/thriller is a full on stoner film. The guys who brought you "Superbad" reunite for the action–comedy "Pineapple Express". A lazy stoner Dale Denton (Seth Rogen) has only one reason to meet with an equally lazy dealer Saul Silver (James Franco): To purchase weed. More specifically, a rare new type called ‘Pineapple Express‘.

But when Dale becomes the only witness to a murder by a crooked cop (Rosie Perez) and drug lords, he panics and things start to go wrong. He leaves his Pineapple Express at the scene of the crime, and runs for his life! The bad guys are hot on their trail, trying to figure out the fastest way to dispose of them. All aboard then for the Pineapple Express.
