What‘s this? Dustin Hoffman might not be returning for the third instalment in the "Meet the Parents" franchise – and that‘s despite making such an impression in "Meet The Fockers". According to Entertainment Weekly, the "Last Chance Harvey" star is in a huff over the size of his role…one the studio has reportedly earmarked as a more substantial offering than the one Hoffman signed up for originally. The screen legend was eager for a cameo at the end of the movie and not a full–on engagement.

So we‘re sans Bernie Focker but his wife Roz Focker (played by Barbra Streisand) will still be ‘representing‘. She has a prominent role in the "Little Fockers".

"Little Fockers" will introduce Gaylord (Ben Stiller) as a dad to twins named Henry and Ashley. A few new characters join the party, including the Focker‘s babysitter Tamyra, rumoured to be played by Jessica Alba, Harvey Keitel, who plays a contractor employed by Stiller‘s character and Laura Dern. Ben Stiller, Robert De Niro, Teri Polo, and Owen Wilson all return.
